First McCanaan Baptist Church will hold Activity Day 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, May 3.

There will be health workshops, games, activities and food for everyone.

The Rev. Willie Evans and members of Portsville Baptist Church will be guests.

Regular service will be held at 11 a.m.

Jones Grove

Jones Grove Baptist Church will continue spring revival services through Friday, May 2, at 7:30 nightly.

The Rev. B.J. Martin, pastor of Mt. Zion in Soperton, will be guest minister for the week.

The Rev. Melvin Habersham, pastor, invites the public.

Allen Chapel

Allen Chapel Baptist Church will hold spring revival services Wednesday-Friday, April 30-May 2, at 7:30 nightly.

The Revs. Mark Barnwell of Fielding Spring, Louis Williams of Greenwood and St. John Blount Hill and Larry Neal of First New Hope will be guest ministers.

Also, the church will celebrate its pastor's fifth anniversary 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 4.

The Rev. Andrew Johnson and members of First Mt. Moriah Baptist Church of Augusta will be special guests.

The church will celebrate its annual "12 Tribes of Israel" 5 p.m. Saturday, May 17.

The public is invited to all services.

McBean Baptist Church will celebrate its 26th annual Homecoming 11 a.m. Sunday, May 4.

The public is invited.

Squire Parsons Trio

Squire Parsons Trio will present inspirational and Southern gospel music at Botsford Baptist Church 11 a.m. Mother's Day, Sunday, May 11.

Everyone is invited and a nursery will be provided.

Squire Parsons is a prolific songwriter and is well-known for "Sweet Beulah Land," which was recorded in 1981 and voted favorite song of the year in Singing News.

Deliverance Evangelistic

Waynesboro Deliverance Evangelistic Church will hold Founders' Day services Wednesday Friday, April 30-May 2, at 7:30 nightly.

The Founders' Day celebration will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday, May 4.

Roy Myles of Augusta Deliverance will be guest speaker.

Bethel Baptist Church will hold its annual Homecoming service 11:30 a.m. Sunday, May 4.

A covered dish lunch will be served 1 p.m., and the Sweetwater Band will perform.

Gateway United Holy Church will hold revival services Thursday Sunday, May 1-4, at 7 nightly.

Speakers include James McGee (Thursday), Cleaveland Mixon (Friday) and the Rev. Johnny Wright (Saturday and Sunday).

New and Living New and Living Way Worship Center will celebrate its third church anniversary with revival services through Saturday, May 3, at 7:30 nightly.

Alice Davis will be guest speaker Wednesday-Friday, and Elizabeth Howard will speak Saturday.

The anniversary celebration will be held 4 p.m. Sunday, May 4, with Linda Travett delivering the sermon.

Murphy Ebenezer

Murphy Ebenezer Baptist Church will celebrate its 139th church anniversary 11:30 a.m. Sunday, May 4.

Barbara Gaskin of Thomas Grove Baptist Church will be mistress of ceremonies, and the Rev. Clinton Bates and members of Mills Grove Baptist Church will be special guests.
