Spartans win one, lose one
The Spartans dropped another region game after a 7-3 loss to Memorial Day School last Tuesday, April 15, but picked up a win Monday, April 21, against Thomas Jefferson Academy. The Spartans defeated the Jaguars 13-5. Statistics from the games were not provided. Their record now stands at 9-5, 3-3. EBA played Bulloch Academy in Statesboro yesterday (Tuesday) and will play Trinity Christian School at home Tuesday, April 29, at 4 p.m. Pictured is Jamie Smith as he pulls back just in time to miss being hit by a pitch in Monday's game against the Jags.
