Henry C. Schumann Sr.

Henry C. Schumann Sr., 88, of Louisville, Ky., entered into rest Saturday, April 19, 2008, at his residence.

A native of Ledbetter, Texas, he was born on Jan. 14, 1920 to the late Henry Schumann and Clara Zwernemann. He was a retired tile setter, a member of American Legion Post #205 in Augusta, Ga., and a member of Resurrection United Methodist Church in Louisville, Ky. Mr. Schumann was also a World War II Army Veteran.

Family members include his sons, Carl of Louisville, Ky., Allen of Kennesaw, Ga., and Tommy of Hephzibah, Ga.; his brother, Elward Schumann, of Austin, Texas; his sister, Idalene Ross of Austin, Texas; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 25, from 6-8 p.m. at DeLoach Funeral Home, Hephzibah.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 26, at Bath Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Hephzibah, with the Rev. John Beck officiating.

Pallbearers include T.J. Schumann, Tyler Schumann, Allen W. Schumann Jr., Ray Holmes, Terry Williams and Scott Revolinski.
