Two charged with sex crimes Two Augusta area men have been charged with alleged sex crimes in Waynesboro. FIAMM shipping manager Bangalee Kamara, 43, was arrested for sexual battery last Wednesday after a former employee accused him of making unwanted sexual advances toward her inside the Waynesboro manufacturing plant. According to an incident report filed in December, the 20- year-old temp worker told Waynesboro police investigators Kamara made sexual remarks and attempted to kiss her on Dec. 19. She said that a week later, he called her into his office to tell her what a good job she'd been doing, then touched her in a more forceful manner and proposed oral sex. The woman also claims to have been fired shortly after refusing him. Investigators say Kamara has denied all of the accusations. The victim swore out a warrant for Kamara's arrest during a hearing last week, according to Chief Magistrate Judge Curt St. Germaine. FIAMM officials confirmed that Kamara is still employed there but did not make any statements regarding the accusations. In an unrelated case, a Martinez man was charged with soliciting sex from a 13-year-old Waynesboro girl. Adam Allen Daniels, 24, was arrested at the Columbia County Jail last Tuesday for enticing a child for indecent purposes. According to Waynesboro police investigator Claude Wade, Daniels sent the victim numerous text messages requesting sex over a two-month period. |
