      Two Augusta area men have been charged with alleged sex crimes in Waynesboro. FIAMM shipping manager Bangalee Kamara, 43, was arrested for sexual battery last Wednesday after a former employee accused him of making unwanted sexual advances toward her inside the Waynesboro manufacturing plant.

Blythe teen arrested for faking theft

      A Blythe teen was arrested for falsely accusing a fellow student of stealing. The 15-year-old was arrested for false report of a crime and unruly juvenile last week after his parents found the "stolen" items and called deputies.

Sex offender found in Richmond County Jail

      An absconded sex offender was returned to Burke County Monday after Richmond County deputies picked him up on unrelated charges. Patrick Wayne Coker, 29, was extradited and arrested on a felony charge of failure to register as a sex offender.
