Mr. Earl Clifton "Tippy" Hickman

Mr. Earl C. "Tippy" Hickman, age 76, of Waynesboro,Ga., entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 6, 2008 at Brentwood Terrace, Waynesboro.

He was born on Jan. 2, 1932 in Girard, Ga., son of the late Eunice Virginia "Jennie" Stafford and Walter Augusta Hickman.

He was a 1949 graduate of Girard High School and was also a graduate of Georgia Southern University.

He is survived by his only sister, Novine H. Hamilton, of Waynesboro; two nephews, Stephen Michael Smith of Girard, Ga., and John Thomas Hamilton Jr. of Sardis, Ga.; and a niece, Lisa H. Tammaro of Waynesboro.
