Library holds dramatic presentation April 16

Vicki Gaynier of Ohio will perform a one-person dramatic presentation of the life of Corrie TenBoom 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, at the Burke County Library auditorium.

TenBoom, along with her father and sister, were imprisoned in a Nazi concentration camp during World War II for being Christian. She is the leading character in the book and movie, "The Hiding Place."

A former nurse in the Air Force, Gaynier uses her relationship with Jesus to play the role. In her own life, she struggled with drug abuse until she was saved and started over through Him.

Members of Nell Byne's Bible study group invite women from the county to attend. There is no charge for the show.
