Nelson, Shaw unite in marriage

Miss Carrie Danielle Nelson became the bride of Wesley Kenyon Shaw 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2008, in Gatlinburg, Tenn.

The Rev. Timothy McIntyre officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Rose and Danny Nelson of Sardis.

The groom is the son of Jennifer and Jerry Shaw of Clyo and Dawn Scarborough of Pooler.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an elegant white satin wedding gown adorned with crystal beading at the top and satin button detail trailing the back. She carried a bouquet of white daisies.

The bride's cousins and the groom's parents were hosts for a reception at the home of Roger and Lori Hudson in Pooler.

The couple make their home in Clyo.
