Church News Franklin Covenant Franklin Covenant Baptist Church will celebrate its 160th church anniversary 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 6. The Rev. Chavas Boyd and members of Bark Camp Baptist Church will be in charge of services. The public is invited. Women's conference Haven-Munnerlyn and Asbury United Methodist churches will hold their second annual women's conference Friday-Saturday, April 11-12. Friday's service will begin 7:30 p.m. at Haven-Munnerlyn. The Rev. Dr. Brenda Colbert of Calvary Evangelistic Church will be speaker. Saturday's service will be 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at Asbury. The Rev. Dr. Gwendolyn Smith of Hudson Memorial CME Church will be speaker. The theme for the conference is "Women on the Move for God. Wanted: Spiritually Empowered Women." Workshops will be held and lunch and the forum will follow. Haven-Munnerlyn Methodist Haven-Munnerlyn United Methodist Church will hold a free clothes giveaway 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at 849 Barron St., Waynesboro. All are welcome. The Rev.
