Engagement Miss Coleman to wed Mr. Johnson

Dr. and Mrs. Charles Hamilton Coleman Jr. of Augusta announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Green, to Jay Brown Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Laurie Johnson Jr. of Birmingham, Ala.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, June 28, 2008, at First Presbyterian Church in Augusta.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Porter Barrett Cohen and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hamilton Coleman, all of Waynesboro.

She is a graduate of Westminster Preparatory School and Auburn University where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega. She received a Bachelor of Science in human development and family studies. Currently, she is attending Oglethorpe University where she will obtain her master's in art and teaching in elementary education. She is employed by Pace Academy in Atlanta as a teacher's associate.

The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Butler Mitchell Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kay Patton, all of Birmingham.

He is a graduate of Briarwood Christian School in Birmingham and Auburn University where he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing and is employed by RPA Inc. as a regional sales representative.
