Burke County Sheriff
The following arrests and citations were reported by the Burke County Sheriff's Office for the past week:

Wednesday, March 19

• Francoise Dionysus Roberts, 39, of Apt. 17 Ashton Village, Waynesboro, was arrested for theft by taking, escape, simple battery (Family Violence Act) and probation violation.

• Gerald Gray Claxton, 34, of 114 East 11th St., Waynesboro, was arrested for theft by receiving stolen property (ATV). A $5,900 property bond was posted.

• Jay Mandrell Robinson, 25, of 112 East 11th St., Waynesboro, was arrested for theft by receiving stolen property (ATV). A $5,900 property bond was posted.

Friday, March 21

• Frank Walker, 50, of 1207 Harris Road, Sardis, was arrested by the Sardis Police Department for aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and probation violation.
