Miss Slater to wed Mr. Dixon April 26

Alan Percy Dixon and Stephanie Christina Slater announce their engagement.

The wedding is planned for 6 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2008, at First United Methodist Church of Waynesboro.

The bride-elect's mother and step-father are Mr. and Mrs. Michael McDaniel of Augusta. She is the granddaughter of Rosemarie Slater and the late Olin Slater of Augusta.

She is a 2001 graduate of Cross Creek High School and is currently pursuing a radiology technician degree from Georgia Military College.

She is employed at CSRA Background.

The bridegroom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Randall P. Dixon of Girard and Lisa Goldman of Lincolnton.

He is the grandson of Sara Jenkins and the late Glynn Jenkins and Malona Dixon and the late Percy Dixon.

He is a 2000 graduate of Edmund Burke Academy and is employed at Dixon Farms.
