Polls at all 15 local precincts will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for residents to weigh in on 14 contested races, from President of the United States to sheriff. Boys arrested for bomb threat
Two Burke County Middle School students were arrested for calling 911 and reporting a bomb at their school. The boys, both 14, used a cell phone to place the call from a school restroom around 11:40 a.m. Thursday. According to Sgt.
