Jaycees plan bigger bang for this year

This Fourth of July marks the largest fireworks extravaganza for the Waynesboro Jaycees. The annual event will take place this Friday at the Burke County Recreation Department. Roberts opts out; school board split on candidates for the job

After serious debate and a summer in limbo, Blakeney Elementary School finally has a new principal. Angela Williams was approved by the Burke County Board of Education Monday after a recommendation from Superintendent Linda Bailey.
