Mr. Bobby Smiley

Bobby Smiley, 62, of Waynesboro entered into rest, Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008, at his daughters home in Stanfield, N.C.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 22, at Botsford Baptist Church, with the Rev. Wayne Dixon and the Rev. Mike Holland officiating.

Interment followed in the Botsford Baptist Church Cemetery.

He was born in Tattnall County, Ga. on May 24, 1945 to the late James Willie Smiley and Beulah Beatrice DeLoach Smiley.

He worked as a land management supervisor, and was a member of Botsford Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Onnie Anderson Smiley, of Waynesboro, Ga.; a son, Joey James Smiley, of Aiken, S.C.; two daughters, Julie Smiley Barron, of Stanfield, N.C., and Donna Smiley Fountain, of Middleburg, Fla.; two brothers, Glenn Smiley, of Savannah, and Billy Smiley, of Glennville, Ga.; a sister, Joyce Ann Fennel of Glennville; five grandchildren, Zoe Jan Barron, Brandon Lee Smiley, Morgan Fountain, MaeKenzie Fountain and Madison Fountain.

The family received friends from 6-8 p.m., Monday, Jan. 21, at DeLoach-Kennedy Funeral Home, Waynesboro, Ga.
