Motorists asked to report drunk drivers

State troopers want the public's help in getting drunk drivers off the roadways this holiday season

The Georgia State Patrol and cell phone providers in Georgia are offering "Star G-S-P" - a cell phone service that allows motorists to report suspected impaired drivers.

The free call will connect local motorists to the GSP Post that serves Burke County.

To report a drunk driver, callers should dial "Star G-SP (*477)."

Motorists may also contact the Burke County Sheriff 's Office at 706-554-2133 or their respective city police stations.
