The Best Christmas Ever
By Demonica Jackson Mrs. Washington's 4th Grade Class, S.G.A. Elementary

Hi. I'm Demonica. I'm an elf!

You know, Santa's Helpers. Elves! Don't you people know anything?

Okay, now you know. Anyway, I have to tell you a story about my adventures with my friends (who are also elves): Kelsey, Tiara and Dominque.

We were all working in Santa's workshop (except Kelsey, she's so vain sometimes) when we heard a loud crash.

Kelsey started screaming (so typical), and I tried to tell her it just came from Santa's creative exploratory.

We all ran to the exploratory (except Kelsey). Tiara followed me, and Dominique followed Tiara.

"Santa!" we all cried.

Santa was under a gigantic pile of books.

"It seems that his bookshelf has fallen," I mumbled under my breath.

"Santa, are you okay?" Tiara asked. Tiara is so sweet. SOMETIMES!

Dominque and I helped the big man up. Tiara started, but said it was too much work.

Santa had a broken leg.

When Kelsey came in, she screamed and ran out of the room. Santa looked at us with a puzzled look. "We do not know," I told him.

"Can you guys help me with my deliveries? I can't go anywhere on this broken leg," Santa said.

"We'll do it Santy," I said.

Kelsey came running in with a surprised look on her face.

"Santa wants us to make his deliverie?," she asked with an exaggerated expression.

We all ran to the reindeer stable. I chose Rudolph because he provides the most light, and I had very bad eyesight, and still do.

He was perfect for me.

We made a decision to go in pairs: Kelsey and I and Dominique and Tiara.

Tiara and Dominique rode on Prancer.

We divided Santa's sack into two smaller sacks, then we took off.

Kelsey started screaming (again). I tried to calm her down.

We started off by going to MyeSue's house … in China!

Oh, my gosh! I get to go to China! At night!

"Thanks Santa," I said under my breath. "This was the best Christmas ever."
