      Funeral services for Carrie Habersham and Julius Thomas Jr. will be held 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at the Burke County High School auditorium with the Rev. Lee Edward Jones officiating. The bodies will lie in state 2-3:30 p.m., and there will be no viewing after the eulogy.

      Fred Nelson Petrea Sr., 51 years old of Waynesboro, Ga., died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007 in Waynesboro. Funeral services were held at Robertson's Heritage Chapel, Saturday, Dec. 15, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Wayne Dixon and the Rev. George Glenn officiating.
