A Happy Thanksgiving
Former resident Roy Chance helped make Thanksgiving happy for a few Burke County families, with a little help from Burke Community Partnership (BCP). He donated 40 turkeys to feed families being served through BCP's teen center and the Keysville afterschool program. Chance, who said he just wanted to give back to the community, enlisted the local organization to assist with distribution. BCP Executive Director Deena Sams and Chance, far right, are pictured with some of the recipients.
