Edmund Burke DAR

The Edmund Burke National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will hold its regular meeting in conjunction with their Christmas luncheon scheduled for noon Saturday, Dec. 1, at First Baptist Church of Waynesboro.

Georgia Clients Council

The Georgia Clients Council will hold its annual luncheon Saturday, Dec. 1 at Neely Grove C.M.E. Church, where the Rev. R. Thompkins is pastor.

The public is invited.

BCMS school council

The Burke County Middle School school council will meet 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at the school's front conference room.

Spaghetti supper First United Methodist Church Mission Team will hold a spaghetti supper in conjunction with the White Columns Womans Club Tour of Homes 4-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8.

The dine-in or take-out supper will be held in the church fellowship hall across from the Wilkins-Hagood House, which is on the tour.

Advance tickets are $5 and are available by calling the church office at 706-554-2188.

The meal consists of spaghetti, tossed salad, bread and tea. Dessert is available for $1.

Old South Christmas

A living history presentation of 19th century Georgia will be held at Wisteria Hall Friday, Nov. 30, and Saturday, Dec. 1. Performance times are at 6, 6:45 and 7:30 each night.

Limited tickets are available, and the cost is $25 per person.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Florida Order of the Confederate Rose Legacy Program.

BCHS concert

The Burke County High School concert choir will perform an a cappella Christmas concert 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at First United Methodist Church.

The public is invited.

Holiday concert

Augusta Technical College, Waynesboro campus, will hold a holiday concert and open house 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, in the school auditorium.

Light refreshments will be served.
