Simpson, Talley to marry

Curtis S. Talley and Melissa Ann Simpson

Bishop and Vincent Simpson announce the engagement of their mother, Melissa Ann Simpson, to Curtis S. Talley.

Ms. Simpson is the daughter of Jimmy W. Jenkins of Sardis and Beatrice Doyle of Sylvania. She is employed with Screven County Board of Education as a fourth-grade teacher.

Mr. Talley is the son of Joan and the late Larry Shannon of Tampa, Fla. and Russel and Lynn Talley of Nitro, W.V.. He is an employee of Southern Company at Plant Vogtle.

The couple will be joined by their families for a private ceremony in April at the R.J. Reynolds Mansion on Sapelo Island.
