Gunman robs local KFC

Police are trying to solve another armed robbery.

A Kentucky Fried Chicken employee called them just after closing time last Thursday and said an armed robber accosted him in the parking lot and forced him back inside.

The employee told officers the robber demanded money, then asked "Is that it?" after being handed a bank bag with an undisclosed amount of cash inside.

When the employee explained it was all he could get, the robber fled on foot.

The employee said the robber was wearing a blue hoodie, with the hood gathered around his face, and a pair of sunglasses.

KFC is the fifth Waynesboro business robbed at gunpoint in less than two months.
