Asbury United Methodist Church will celebrate its 140th Homecoming 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28.

Antioch Rock Creek

Antioch Rock Creek Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate its ninth Pastoral Anniversary honoring the Rev. Dr. David Kemp Sr. and his wife Earnestine, 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 28.

The Rev. Henry Ingram, pastor of Hazel Grove and Mt. Zion Baptist churches in Beech Island, S.C., will be the guest speaker.

The public is invited to attend.

Haven-Munnerlyn

Haven-Munnerlyn United Methodist Church will celebrate its 141st church anniversary 2:30 p.m. Sunday, October 21.

First Baptist Church of Keysville will be the guest church along with its pastor the Rev. Garry Kerr.

Community Worship

Center

The Community Worship Center in Millen will celebrate its Homecoming 10:45 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 21.

Ronny Hinson will be the artist and speaker for the occasion.

Ronnie is best known as writer of "The Lighthouse." He has been traveling for 40 years singing and preaching the gospel.

McKinnie Branch Baptist Church will have its annual Women Day Program 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 21.

Anna Roberts will be the evangelist; the Shepherd's House will lead praise and worship; and the Rev. Queen Holmes, pastor of the Shepherd's House, will be the guest minister.

The public is invited. Dinner will be served. The Rev. L.E. Jones is pastor.

Brown Grove

Brown Grove Baptist Church will have its annual Men & Women's Day Program 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21.

The Rev. Cornelius Smith, along with his church family of Thankful Missionary Baptist Church, will be the special guest for the occasion.

Also, the church will have its Youth Revival 7:30 nightly, Tuesday Thursday, Oct. 23-25.

The guest revivalist will be the Rev. Willie J. Evans, pastor of Portersville Missionary Baptist Church of Waynesboro.

Sardis First Baptist Church will have the S&B Deacon and Brotherhood Union 10th annual Scholarship Revival 7:30 nightly Monday Wednesday, Oct. 29-31.

Clear Spring Missionary

Clear Spring Missionary Baptist Church will have its Fall Revival 7:30 nightly Wednesday-Friday, Oct. 24-26.

Pastors and churches in charge each evening include the following:

Wednesday, Oct. 24 - Mary Rucker, Bethlehem Temple, Clear Spring, St. John, Union Bethel and Mt. Olive;

Thursday, Oct. 25 - The Rev. Melvin Habersham, Rosier Grove, Jones Grove, Clear Spring, Love Hill and St. Paul A.M.E.; and

Friday, Oct. 26 - The Rev. Robert Stokes, Cannan Galilee, Clear Spring, Bark Camp and Roberson Grove (Midville).

Also, the church will celebrate it Homecoming Sunday, Oct. 28.

Sunday School begins at 10:30 a.m. with worship service following at 11:30.

The public is invited.

Habersham

Habersham United Methodist Church will celebrate its Homecoming 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 21.

Dr. Charles Adams will be the guest speaker. He is superintendent of Epworth By the Sea, the Methodist center on St. Simons Island and the former Statesboro District Superintendent.

Carolyn Jordan of Lexington, S.C. will provide special music.

The public is invited. Dinner will be served.

Ebenezer

Ebenezer Baptist Church will celebrate its 13th Pastoral Anniversary for the Rev. Tommy L. Johnson Sunday, Oct. 21.

Sunday School begins at 10 a.m. and mass meeting is at 11 a.m. The evening service will begin at 2 p.m.

Guest pastor will be Dr. David Kemp Sr., pastor of Brinson Hill Baptist Church in Wadley. Rock Creek Baptist Church in Waynesboro will be in charge.
