Third-graders visit GSU Wildlife Center
 | | Edmund Burke Academy third-graders recently took a field trip to the Georgia Southern University Wildlife Center in Statesboro. This field trip was a follow up to a science unit on animal habitats and included a hands-on guided tour and a showing and discussion of live animals such as alligators, snakes, turtles, Madagascar hissing cockroaches, hedgehogs, birds of prey and Georgia Southern's very own mascot, Glory, the bald eagle. Third grade teachers are Kristy Smith and Sam Winkler. |
