Amy Bunn

Amy Bunn has been named to the dean's list for the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Georgia in recognition of her high academic achievement during the summer semester.

She is a recent graduate of Edmund Burke Academy and the daughter of Gregg and Kim Bunn of Waynesboro.

Brandon Lambert

Army Pvt. Brandon D. Lambert recently graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C.

During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches and field training exercises.

He is the son of Sharon Cunningham of Waynesboro and a 2005 graduate of Burke County High School.
