Mrs. Lillian H. Reeves

Mrs. Lillian H. Reeves, 88, passed away Monday, Oct. 8, 2007, at her home in Waynesboro, Ga.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11, at the Chapel of DeLoach- Kennedy Funeral Home in Waynesboro with the Rev. Marshall Singletary officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Reeves was born Dec. 6, 1918, in Cairo, Ga. She was a homemaker and the wife to the late Irvin Reeves. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Waynesboro.

She is survived by her two daughters, JoAnn Bohannon (Jimmy) of Cochran, Ga., and Sandra Mobley (Melvin) of Waynesboro; four grandchildren, Michael Bohannon (Monicca) of Statesboro, Ga., Chad Bohannon (Stephanie) of Cochran, Allison Hughes (Derrick) of Grovetown, Ga., Phil Walden of Waynesboro; four great grandchildren; a brother, Jim Hester (Jane) of Cleveland, Ga.; a sister Doris Burgess of Cairo, Ga.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to her caregivers, Annie Douglas and Patricia Jones, for all their kind, compassionate care. A special recognition is also given to the staff of Trinity Hospice for their care and concern.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, Oct. 10, from 6-8 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Reeves.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that remembrances be made to the General Fund of the First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 428, Waynesboro, GA 30830, or Trinity Hospice of Augusta, 2260 Wrightsboro Rd., Augusta, GA 30904.
