From Staff Reports

Tickets for an event featuring a popular quilt display by Waynesboro native Mary Bailey Davis will be available starting Oct. 13.

The Edmund Burke National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will host the event, which is scheduled for Saturday, December 1 at First Baptist Church of Waynesboro. The luncheon, which will include the program and a variety of seasonal music, will begin at noon, but guests may come at 11:30 a.m. to view tables decorated for Christmas.

Davis, who now lives in New Mexico, will present the program, Keeping Christ in Christmas, and display her Life of Christ quilt collection. She is the daughter of Betty Bailey Trenter of Waynesboro and the late J.W. "Squat" Bailey.

Tickets may be purchased for $12. For more information, contact Sara Stone Carter at 706-554-3560 or Isabel Edmond at 706-554-2077.
