Mrs. Renee B. Cliffe

Mrs. Renee B. Cliffe of Augusta, 50, entered into rest Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007 at her home.

Funeral Services were held Tuesday, Oct. 2, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of DeLoach-Kennedy Funeral Home, Hephzibah, with the Rev. Roger Stone officiating.

Interment followed at Westover Memorial Park.

She was born July 16, 1957 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Augusta to the late Richard A. Burch and Kathryne Gardner Burch.

She was a graduate of T.W. Josey High School, class of 1975, and a graduate of Phillips College with a degree in legal secretary. She was a member of Mann Memorial United Methodist Church. She served as president of the Kissingbower Lake Neighborhood Assocication and was a member of the Richmond Chapter #463, OES, where she served as Worthy Matron. She was a dual member of the Rosemary Chap- ter #158, OES, where she served as an officer. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Augusta Shrine Club, where she served as Secretary and President. She was past President of the Past Matrons and Past Patrons club of District 26.

She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Roland L. Cliffe; her god daughter, Melissa K. Anstak, of Charleston, S.C.; and a large network of close and loving friends.

The family received friends Monday, Oct. 1, from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
