Bears to face Glenn Hills before homecoming crowd

Burke County High School (1-2) will battle the Glenn Hills High School Spartans this Friday in the Bear Den.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

The Bears are celebrating homecoming week and will look for their second win of the sea- in front of a big hometown crowd.

Last year, the Bears defeated the Spartans 14-6. They relied heavily on their running game, tallying 165 yards rushing. The Bears scored two touchdowns and tacked on a 2-point conversion, while the Spartans were only able to muster one touchdown in the game.

The Spartans enter this year's match up 3-0, posting big wins over Greene County (41-27), Hephzibah (28-13) and Josey (33-0).
