Congratualtions to Mr. and Mrs. Hank Tinley on their whirlwind romance and marriage.
Monica McClain and Hank Tinley were married last Friday morning at the Burke County Court House with their parents, Al and Louise McClain, Henry and Dale Tinley, grandmother, Clara Belle McClain, and her aunt, Susie Barefield as witnesses.
Following the ceremony, employees at First National Bank gave a reception at the bank in honor of the wedded couple.
Monica worked the rest of the day at the bank, and Hank finished out the day at the Waynesboro Country Club, and the couple left for a honeymoon to Disney World on Saturday. Monica and Hank, I wish a lifetime of wedded bliss!
****** I know many of you remember our former editor, Jimmy Ezzell. Jimmy and his wife, Marie, moved to North Myrtle Beach, S.C., and are enjoying retirement.
Prior to his retirement, Jimmy had some health problems, but is doing well now.
If you recall, Jimmy loved to eat. He would come in each morning, lie his briefcase on the credenza in his office and walk over to mine and ask me where we were going to eat lunch that day.
I would respond to him ... I don't know Pillsbury Dough Boy, but I bet you've got something in mind.
Jimmy now weighs 137 pounds! Can you believe it? Congratulations, Jimmy!

Congratulations are in order for the Best Office Solutions team. The walked away as the first annual Racks by the Tracks cookoff champs during last Saturday's Waynesboro Shrine Club Farm Fest held at the Southern Bank Complex and Pavilion.
Their team consisted of the Best Girls,"Blondies," Best Guys, "Baldies," and the "Butt," Waynesboro Fire Chief Ronnie Baxley, who just happens to be Best's co-owner Robin Baxley's husband.
I heard their ribs and sides were the "best!"
Thanks to all who were involved in the Farm Fest, especially, the Shriners.
Events like this are a huge undertaking. My hat is off to all of you!
