Akridge, Allen to unite in marriage

James Kenneth Allen II and Autumn Nicole Akridge
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Akridge of Swainsboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Autumn Nicole, to James Kenneth Allen II of Sardis, son of Elizabeth G. Allen and the late James K. Allen Sr.

The wedding is planned for 5:30 p.m. Dec. 1, 2007, at Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church in Aline. A reception will immediately follow at the Swainsboro Country Club.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Oletta Durden of Aline and the late R. E. Durden Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jim Akridge.

She is a 2001 graduate of Emanuel County Institute and attended Swainsboro Technical College, where she completed the EMT course.

She is currently employed by Travellin' Lamb Specialized Carriers of Midville.

The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of the late Jeremy Allen, the late Miriam Allen and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Mood George.

He is a 1998 graduate of Jefferson County High School and attended Swainsboro Technical College, where he earned a degree in mig-welding. He graduated with a class A commercial driver's license from MTC in St. Louis.

He is part owner of Travellin' Lamb Specialized Carriers of Midville.
