Family reunions

Descendants of Kendall and Elizabeth Bass McTier through the Larkin, Solomon, Redrick, Narcissa Johnson and Synthian Guimarin lines are invited to the annual family reunion 10 a.m.- until Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Family Life Center of the First Methodist Church of Thomson.

Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish.

The Dickey family reunion will be held Saturday, Sept. 15, at Oak Grove Baptist Church of Christ, 206 East Fourth St., Rincon.

The reunion will begin 11 a.m., and lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m.

Ice, paper goods and utensils will be provided; those attending are asked to bring food and beverages.

Late church news

Phillip Grove Missionary Baptist Church will continue revival services through Thursday, Sept. 13, at 7:30 nightly.

Those in charge of services are, Wednesday, Sept. 12 - the Rev. Bobby Hankerson and Hammond Grove Word Power Ministry; and Thursday, Sept. 13 - the Rev. Willie Evans and Portersville Baptist Church.
