      Two North Liberty Street businesses were the targets of crime last Wednesday. According to a report filed at the Waynesboro Police Department, a masked robber stuck a gun into the face of a Best Western clerk around 3:30 a.m. and demanded money.

      Police followed a burglar's trail straight to the hospital. Friday morning, Farm Bureau Insurance employees discovered that a laptop computer, two digital cameras and some cash had been stolen, according to a report filed at the Waynesboro Police Department.

      In the Aug. 22 edition of The True Citizen, it was reported that Michael Todd Boswell, 25, was arrested for computer pornography and child exploitation. At the time, GBI agents said the charge was related to the possession of child pornography.

      A Waynesboro man was tied up with a telephone cord and robbed. According to Investigator Bobbie Jockel of the Waynesboro Police Department, the victim called for help around 5 a.m. Saturday after the robber made away with a Monte Carlo.
