Burke County football games heard worldwide Fans who can't make it to the game to root for the Bears can still follow the gridiron action with the help of a computer. Thanks to audio streaming technology, every Burke County football game will be broadcast live over the Internet. Retired football coach Dan Wiggins, fan Norman Booker and school administrator Chris Henry will provide commentary and statistics during each match-up. The broadcasts are provided free of charge and strictly as a service to the fans, according to Henry. This marks the sixth year that the Bears have gone worldwide, and Henry said technology improvements make the broadcasts better each year. Now that new coach Mark Flowers has joined the coaching staff, they expect to take the show to the next level. Flowers, who teaches technology at Burke County, provided this service while at Lin- coln County High School. Each broadcast will begin at 7:10 p.m. with a pre-game interview with Coach Parker and messages from the cheerleaders, as well as other extras that are still being worked into the mix.
