Kelley crowned Miss Black Burke County
Donnesha Kelley was crowned Miss Black Burke County 2007 after the Divas of Excellence were presented during the 29th annual pageant. The pageant's theme was "In Celebration of Excellence," and each contestant competed in Talent, Evening Wear and Question and Answer. The evening consisted of a production by the Swans and Doves which were selected by the participants as up and coming contestants of the future. The Swans were Joshera Johnson, Courtney Scott, Ashe' Whitfield, Acacia Howard, Alexis Stone, Angele' Evans, Michaela Carter, Lakia Lewis, Venicia Colley, Jacquetta Chandler, Lateria Gresham and Asia Carter. Doves were Christiyuana Lovett, Diana Birt, Alecia' Collins, Taylor Scott, Nikeria Brown, Ashlynn Sapp, McKenzie Jones, Taylor Burnett, Tanyla Wimberly, Taylor Walker, Crystal Chance and Diamond Bennet. Special musical guests were Tedrick "Tetris" Kelly and Mimi. Katina Williams and "Chillz" from Foxy 103.1 FM were mistress and master of ceremony, respectively.
