The following arrests and citations were reported last week by the Waynesboro Police Department:

Thursday, Aug. 16

• Starles Mashana Newkirt, 25, of 803 Davis Road, Apt. 404, Waynesboro, was arrested on a probation warrant.

Friday, Aug. 17

• Reginald Lamarca Abrams, 23, of 1014 Hwy. 56 North, Waynesboro, was arrested on a county warrant.

Saturday, Aug. 18

• Phil Antonio Lewis, 29, of 165 Winter Road, Hephzibah, was arrested on a Richmond County probation warrant.

Sunday, Aug. 19

• Demario Aliphes Lewis, 27, of 1417 Westgate Drive, Waynesboro, was arrested on two counts of probation violation.

Burke County Sheriff

The following arrests and citations were reported last week by the Burke County Sheriff's Office:

Monday, July 30

• Brandon Joshua Bailey, 18, of 3824 Lake Ontario St., Hephzibah, was arrested for kidnapping, battery, interference with a 911 call and criminal trespass (Family Violence Act).

Sunday, Aug. 12

• Richard Kenneth Beckum, 53, of 501 Del Rio Road, Hephzibah, was arrested for battery (Family Violence Act). A $1,300 property bond was posted.

Monday, Aug. 13

• Forace Wesby, 64, of 382 Shell Bluff Spur, Waynesboro, was arrested for simple battery and interference with a 911 call (Family Violence Act). A $2,600 property bond was posted.

• Tareka Taneka Ellison, 27, of 104 Pecan Grove Drive, Waynesboro, was arrested for aggravated stalking (Waynesboro Police case).
