Railroad crossing closed next week

The railroad crossing on Highway 25 (State Route 121) in Waynesboro will be closed next week for railroad crossing repairs.

According to a news release from the Georgia Department of Transportation, a portion of the highway will be closed from 7:30 a.m., Monday, Aug. 20, through 5 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 22.

Traffic will be detoured onto Highway 56 and the Burke Veterans Parkway (bypass).
