Burke County Sheriff

The following arrests and citations were reported last week by the Burke County Sheriff's Office:

Wednesday, Aug. 1

• Samantha Elizabeth Watton, 42, of 5251 Mike Padgett Hwy., Hephzibah, was arrested for driving without a license and improper left turn. A $750 property bond was posted.

Monday, Aug. 6

• Jack Woodrow Myers, 27, of 223-A Greens Cut Church Road, Waynesboro, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and three counts of deposit account fraud. A $7,025 property bond was posted.

Tuesday, Aug. 7

• Jamie Macuixtle Itehua, 31, of 1201 Hale St., Waynesboro, was arrested for obstructing or hindering a law enforcement officer. A $1,300 property bond was posted.

• Enoch Dukes Jr., 54, of 820 Drone Road, Waynesboro, was arrested for criminal trespass and obstructing or hindering a law enforcement officer.

• Michael Paul Speaks, 29, of 10238 Hwy. 23 South, Girard, was arrested for theft by taking. A $1,300 property bond was posted.

• Angel Lee Speaks, 28, of 10238 Hwy. 23 South, Girard, was arrested for theft by taking. A $1,300 property bond was posted.

• Jameson Paul Moats, 31, of 3314 Hwy. 24 South, Waynesboro, was arrested for battery. A $1,300 property bond was posted.

• Arthur Lee Hackett Jr., 42, of 803 Davis Road, Apt. 1002, Waynesboro, was arrested for deposit account fraud. A $375 property bond was posted.
