The following arrests and citations were reported last week by the Waynesboro Police Department:

Saturday, Aug. 4

• Clevis Wendale Brown, 21, of 153 Cleveland Drive, Waynesboro, was arrested for DUI.

Sunday, Aug. 5

• Peter Otis Darlington, 53, of 718 Savannah Ave., Waynesboro, was arrested for aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of a sawed-off shotgun, discharging a firearm on or near a public highway, pointing a gun at another and public drunkenness.

Tuesday, Aug. 7

• James Siefert Young, 33, of 3241 Hancock Landing Road, Waynesboro, was arrested for driving with a suspended or revoked license and no insurance.

Wednesday, Aug. 8

• Timothy Bernard Harper, 23, of 1025 Herman Lodge Blvd., Waynesboro, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with damage.

• Donald Keith Chance, 47, of 143 Pine Valley Drive, Waynesboro, was cited for interference with police.

• Heather Ann Chance, 22, of 143 Pine Valley Drive, Waynesboro, was cited for interference with police.

Thursday, Aug. 9

• Benton Lee Hardy, 20, of 2768 Hwy. 56 South, Waynesboro, was arrested for forgery in the first degree and attempting to obtain dangerous drugs by fraud.

Friday, Aug. 10

• Luke Bunyon Jr., 29, of 5256 Hwy. 56 North, Lot E, Waynesboro, was arrested on warrants for obstructing or hindering a law enforcement officer and disorderly conduct.

• Brandon Michael Patterson, 25, of 384 Kemp Road, Swainsboro, was arrested on warrants for battery and cruelty to children in the third degree (Family Violence Act). He was released on his own recognizance.

Saturday, Aug. 11

• Anthony Lee Boyd, 35, of 803 Davis Road, Waynesboro, was arrested for public drunkenness.

• Sharonda Azela Herndon, 25, of 2700 Drone Road, Waynesboro, was arrested on warrants for probation violation.

Sunday, Aug. 12

• Julio Cesar Ramirez, 22, of 524 Shadrack St., Waynesboro, was arrested for no driver's license.
