A posting on MySpace.com has caught up with a Sardis teen.

Dusty Belk, 18, was arrested for interference with government property after Sardis Police Chief John Finley followed a tip to Belk's online profile.

There, he found two photographs of a stolen Sardis Police Department sign.

In one photo, Belk is posing in front of the sign while brandishing a sawed-off shotgun. In the other, the sign is laid flat with a substance believed to be marijuana on top.

According to Chief Finley, Belk was also served with four outstanding warrants last Wednesday, including one for child molestation.

Burke County deputies said that charge dates back to February when Belk, then 17, allegedly had consensual sex with a 13-year-old. Additional charges stemming from that incident include statutory rape and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Belk is also charged with theft by receiving stolen property in connection to a golf cart that was stolen from Waynesboro in April.

As of Tuesday, he was being held on five bonds totaling $70,900.
