Youth musical

Area One Missionary Ministry of Burke County and the 10th District Missionary Baptist Convention of Georgia will hold a youth musical program 5 p.m. Saturday, July 28, at Bottsford Spring Missionary Baptist Church.

All churches, youth organizations and choirs are invited to participate.

Fielding Spring

Fielding Spring Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate its 127th church anniversary 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 22.

The Rev. Rex Wright, pastor of Oakey Grove Baptist Church in Evans, will deliver the message. The public is invited.

Allen Chapel

Allen Chapel Baptist Church will hold its annual Men and Women Day 2 p.m. Sunday, July 22.

The Rev. Jerry Smith and members of Palmer Grove Baptist Church are in charge of services. The Rev. Byron William, pastor, invites the public.

Brown Grove

The gospel choir of Brown Grove Baptist Church will hold its annual Green Leaf Tea program 2 p.m. Sunday, July 22.

Tommie Walker and members of St. Clair Baptist Church will be in charge of services. The public is invited.

Roberson Grove

Roberson Grove Missionary Baptist Church will hold its Women Day program Sunday, July 22.

Sunday School begins 10:30 a.m.

Margaret Haugabrook will be guest speaker. The Rev. Alvin Lewis Jr. is pastor.

Empowerment Center

Everlasting Life Christian Empowerment Center will hold a weekly "Hour of Empowerment" Bible study every Wednesday at 7 p.m.

The center will also hold Sunday morning worship services at 11.

The new location is 602 Myrick St., in Waynesboro. Pastors are Barrett and Rosetta Madison.

Daniel Grove

Daniel Grove Missionary Baptist Church will continue revival services through Friday, July 20, at 7:30 nightly.

Guest ministers include the Revs. Peter Parker, General Jennings, Charles Utley and Byron Williams and Marion Davis.

Invited churches include, Wednesday, July 18 - McElmurray Spring Branch, Mt. Zion and Gordon Hill; Thursday, July 19 - Macedonia and Ebenezer; and Friday, July 20 - Allen Chapel, McKinnie Branch and McElmurray Tabernacle.

Churches are welcome to attend the night of their choice.

Waynesboro

Deliverance

Waynesboro Deliverance Evangelistic Church will hold revival services Wednesday-Friday, July 18-20, at 7:30 nightly.

The revival will be "Rejoice in 2007," and Janice Williams of Anderson, S.C., will be guest speaker.

Pastors are Glenn and Betty Wiggins. The public is invited.

Givens Grove

Givens Grove Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate its 37th usher anniversary 2 p.m. Sunday, July 22.

The Rev. Eddie Walker and members of Red Hill and Welcome Baptist churches will be special guests. The public is invited.

Fellowship

The pastor's aide club of Fellowship Baptist Church will hold a "Rainbow Tea" 4 p.m. Saturday, July 21.

The public is invited, and refreshments will be served. The Rev. Dr. James Thomas is pastor.

Portersville

Portersville Missionary Baptist Church will hold its annual summer revival Monday-Friday, July 23-27, at 7:30 nightly.

The program will feature, Monday, July 23 - James Lewis and Second Bynes Grove; Tuesday, July 24 - Melvin Habersham and Rosier/Jones Grove; Wednesday, July 25 - Chavous Boyd and Bark Camp; Thursday, July 26 - Elliot Bing and Philip Grove; and Friday, July 27 - Moses Anderson and Historic First Ebenezer.

The public is invited. The Rev. Willie J. Evans is pastor.

Blounts Chapel

Blounts Chapel Baptist Church will hold Homecoming services Sunday, July 22.

Sunday School begins 10:30 a.m. followed by morning worship at 11:30.

Master and mistress of ceremony will be Eddie Jackson and Darlene Jackson. The public is invited, and dinner will be served.

Thankful

Thankful Baptist Church will hold Family and Friends Day 2 p.m. Sunday, July 29.

The Rev. Thomas Moore will be guest minister.

The public is invited. The Rev. Berry Rogers is pastor.
