By Bonnie K. Taylor General Manager The True Citizen
Many of my readers will remember Mrs. Inez Watson, wife of the late Holder Watson of Waynesboro.
Mrs. Watson died last Thursday. She was a very nice lady, who, in her older age has probably been forgotten by many throughout the community.
To her daughter, Kathleen, and son, Walker, I extend my condolences.

Mrs. Mary Hargrove shared information with us last week about a seminar that gives "Lasting Answers." The seminar is set 6:30-9:30 p.m., Sunday, July 22-Saturday, July 28 at the James D. Smith Auditorium at Burke County High School.
It is a Bible-based course which teaches basic life principles and character development for ages 14 and up.
The Sunday evening session is free and open to the public. There is a charge for the remainder of the week and requires registration.
This course also qualifies for continuing education college credit, and a sign in and sign out sheet will be available at every session for those who require this credit.
Some of the subject material includes: How can we resolve or avoid youth rebellion? How can we discover purpose in life? How can we have true financial freedom? How can we resolve family and marriage conflicts?
For more information contact Mrs. Hargrove at 706-554-2556 or Mrs. Betty Trenter, 706-554-0359.
I heard the folks at Burkehaven Chapel got a preview of the seminar and according to Linda Byne, it is awesome and it is so basic ... Wow!, she said. Anyone can apply it to their lives, young and old.
Set aside some time to attend. When we have a community that has good relationships ... family, co-workers ... we all prosper!
