BCHS to offer freshman orientation next week

Burke County High School will hold orientation for incoming freshmen next week.

The session will be held 8:30-11:45 a.m. Thursday, July 26, at the school. Rising freshmen and their parents are encouraged to attend.

"This will give freshmen an opportunity to tour the school and give parents an overview of what they can expect at Burke County High School," principal Dr. Wayne Hickman said.

Dr. Hickman said this marks the first time the school has held a summer session of orientation.
