Miss Hopkins to wed Mr. Rhodes
The wedding is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2007, at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Girard. A reception will immediately follow at the Legion across from BI-LO. No invitations will be sent. All family and friends are invited to attend. The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Juanita Hopkins of Girard and George Scurry of Augusta. She is the granddaughter of the late Eula Mae Hopkins and Eva Bell Scurry and the late Norman Scurry, all of Girard. She was formerly employed by Cummins Filtration in Waynesboro. The bridegroom-elect is the son of Teresa Rhodes of Waynesboro and Jerry Rhodes III of St. Petersburg, Fla. He is the grandson of Alvin and Willie Mae Wimberly Sr. and Jerry Rhodes Jr., all of Waynesboro. He is currently employed by the City of Waynesboro. |
