Laurie Dickey Laurie Dickey graduated with honors from Valdosta State University on Saturday, May 5, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in broadcast journalism and a minor in speech communications/public relations. She is also certified in print and broadcast writing.

Dickey was recognized by Alpha Lambda Delta and Alpha Chi for outstanding academic achievement as well.

She is a 2003 honor graduate of Burke County High School and is the daughter of Ralph and Jean Dickey of Waynesboro.

Ginger Gilpin

Ginger Gilpin graduated from Mercer University on Saturday, May 12, where she earned a Bachelor of Music Education.

Gilpin, a Tift College Scholar, graduated magna cum laude. She is also a member of Phi Eta Sigma and Kappa Delta Epsilon honor societies.

She is a 2002 graduate of Burke County High School and the daughter of Jerry and Jill Gilpin of Waynesboro.

Jessica Elaine DeLaigle graduated from East Georgia College with an Associate of Arts on Friday, May 4.

She will begin school this fall at Georgia Southern University to pursue a Bachelor of Art in early childhood education.

She is a 2005 graduate of Burke County High School and the daughter of Randy and Karen DeLaigle of Sardis.
