Saturday's movie rescheduled; to be shown June 23

This weekend's rainy forecast has prompted organizers to postpone Saturday night's Movies Under the Stars at the City Park

The flick will now be shown on June 23.

The movie tells the heartfelt story of an underdog high school football team that

faces up to its biggest fears.

The film will begin at dark, but loads of gridiron activities will begin at 7:30 p.m., including field-goal kicking competitions and a special warm-up from some local football stars.

And, as always, all are welcome to bring blankets and folding chairs for seating.

Megaphones filled with popcorn and pompoms will be sold. The movie is being sponsored by First National Bank.

Admission is $1, and children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
