Hill, Barefield to unite in marriage

John Barefield and April Hill

Clint Hill of Martinez and Robin Hill of Augusta announce the engagement of their daughter, April Lena Hill of Evans, to John Ashton Barefield, son of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Barefield of Waynesboro.

The wedding is planned for 7 p.m. Saturday, July 14, 2007 at Rosemont Heights Baptist Church in Waynesboro.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Douglas Hatcher and Elise Hatcher, all of Conroe, Texas, B.J. Hill of Martinez and Nora Hill of Lincolnton.

She is a 1996 graduate of Lakeside High School in Evans. She is currently employed by Verizon Wireless of Augusta.

The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Edenfield of Waynesboro, the late James Riggs and the late Mr. and Mrs. Roger Barefield.

He is a 2000 graduate of Edmund Burke Academy, and he attended Augusta Technical College. He is the owner of A Cut Above Landscape and Lawn Maintenance in Waynesboro.
