The following arrests and citations were reported last week by the Waynesboro Police Department:

Monday, May 28

+ Terrence Roderick Brim, 37, of 21 Greene St., Augusta, was arrested for possession of marijuana (less than one ounce), suspended registration (first offense) and no insurance.

Tuesday, May 29

+ Tommy Lee Ward, 37, of Magnolia Acres, Apt. 40, Waynesboro, was arrested for interference with police.

Friday, June 1

+ Tequia Shalontae White, 19, of 3119 Bates Road, Waynesboro, was arrested for theft by deception.

The following arrests were reported last week by the Burke County Sheriff's Office:

Friday, May 25

+ Deborah Jean Boyd, 52, of 4375 Highway 80 East, Waynesboro, was arrested by the Georgia State Patrol for DUI. A $1,300 property bond was posted.

Sunday, May 27

+ Deshaziur Antoine Rouse, 25, of 705 Greenhill Drive, Sardis, was arrested by the Sardis Police Department for two counts of aggravated assault and a child support contempt order.

Monday, May 28

+ Marcus Jermaine Mutch, 30, of Meadow Wood Apartments, Apt. 4D, Sardis, was arrested by the Georgia State Patrol for DUI and violation of the Georgia Open Container Law. A $2,975 property bond was posted.

Tuesday, May 29

+ Willard Ray Baker Jr., 47, of 2570 Pine Needle Road, Hephzibah, was arrested for cruelty to children in the third degree (Family Violence Act) and simple battery (Family Violence Act). A $2,600 property bond was posted.

+ Chelsey Renee Louge, 19, of 5146 Henderson Circle, Hephzibah, was arrested for speeding (91/55 mph zone) and obstructing or hindering a law enforcement officer. A $2,600 property bond was posted.
