Mrs. Louise Godbee McGhan

Louise Godbee McGhan, 92, of Girard, Ga. passed away Thursday, May 17, 2007 in Baltimore, Md.

Memorial graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 2, at Burke Memorial Gardens.

The Rev. John Raborn will officiate.

She was a daughter of the late W. King and Agnes D. Godbee of Girard.

She graduated from Girard High School and Strayer Business College in Washington D.C. She worked for the United States Post Office and McGhan Patent Schaffolding Company.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. McGhan.

She is survived by a daughter, Patricia A. Chandler (Floyd), of Girard; three grandchildren, Kathy Bridges, Ann Dixon and Brenda Chandler; eight greatgrandchildren; and 11 greatgreat grandchildren.
