BCHS hoopster to play in USA Junior Nationals

One of Burke County's own will be representing Georgia at the USA Junior Nationals.

DeVonda Lewis, a rising senior at Burke County High School, was selected for the team after standing out at the all-state high school basketball competition at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

The guard will travel to Columbus, Ohio for the competition July 23-29.

College coaches from around the country will coach the teams from each state.

Lewis is the son of Jannie Lewis.
